Intruder

Intruder is an interactive AI pathfinding demo made by myself using C# and Unity 3D. The sentries use pathnodes and a modified A* algorithm to ambush the player during pursuits.

Do you have what it takes to sneak into the royal treasury?

  • Sentries walk along preset paths until the player steps within their view cone.
  • If they catch a glimpse of something suspicious, they will investigate the area.
  • When a sentry confirms his sighting of the player, all sentries will coordinate their search efforts, using the player’s last seen position as a target.
  • Sentries will try to ambush the player by preferring to take unique paths to the objective.
